Hyundai, the South Korean car company, has released pictures of its new mini electric car, the Hyundai INSTER, set to enter the global market.
Featuring attractive aesthetics and a robust battery pack, this mini electric car appears to draw inspiration from Hyundai's popular model, 'CASPER'.
It is notably smaller than the Tata Punch sold in the Indian market, yet the company has integrated new features and technology into it.
The car's dimensions are 3,825 mm in length, 1,610 mm in width, 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,580 mm, according to the company.
Hyundai Inster has two battery pack options, with the entry-level variant producing 96 hp and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.7 seconds.
The base Hyundai Inster variant has a 42 kWh battery, providing a 300 km range and reaching speeds up to 140 km/hr.
Both versions use NCM chemistry and support 86 kW DC charging with a heat pump.
The car's vehicle-to-load (V2L) system can power electronic devices with a capacity of 110V or 220V.
Hyundai has launched this car globally, but its India launch is unconfirmed. It could be a great fit for India.
