How To Make The Perfect Key Lime Cake At home

Ingredients needed -  1/5 cup flour, 2 Key limes, salt, vanilla extract, 2 tsp key lime juice, baking powder, 3 cup milk, oil, 2/5 cup sugar, baking powder, 2 eggs and butter.

Ingredients

Whisk together the dry ingredients and sugar, then gradually stir in the butter one tbsp at a time.

Make The Cake Layers

Mix in the oil and lime zest until everything is well combined.

Pour the lime juice into a large glass measuring cup, then add the milk.

Add the remaining wet ingredients to the milk mixture, then slowly pour it into your batter until combined.

Split the batter between your cake pans and bake.

Let the cakes cool for 10-15 minutes, then take them out of the pans and let them cool completely on a cooling rack.

Beat the butter and cream cheese until smooth, then slowly add 4 cups of powdered sugar.

Level and frost the first cake layer, then do the same with the second. Add the final layer on top. Press graham cracker crumbs onto the sides of the cake.

Pipe whipped cream swirls on top of the cake and decorate as you like.
