– 2-3 ripe bananas (mashed) – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 cup sugar – 1/2 cup butter (softened) – 1/4 cup milk – 1 tsp baking soda – 1/4 tsp salt – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 large egg
Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix well.
Add the dry ingredients and milk alternately to the banana mixture. Stir until combined.
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round or square cake pan. Pour the batter into the pan, bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or Cream cheese frosting and enjoy it as a cozy tea-time treat!
