Lemon Juice or Vinegar ( for pretreatment optional: olive oil (for coating)
Rinse the grapes thoroughly under cold water. Remove all stems and discard damaged or unripe grapes.
Soak the grapes in a mixture of water and lemon juice or vinegar for 5 minutes. This step helps preserve color and improve flavor.
Sun drying: Place the grapes on a clean tray with cloth or with a drying rack in a sunny place. Cover with netting to keep out insects.
Check the grapes every few hours. Make sure they dry evenly, don't burn or stay too wet.
After the grapes are completely dried and shriveled, let them cool completely . Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
Use homemade raisins for baking, cooking or a healthy snack. Enjoy natural sweetness and nutritional value!
