Pick your favorite nuts: almonds, peanuts, cashews, or hazelnuts. Use raw or roasted, depending on taste.
If using raw nuts, roast them in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 8-10 minutes for a deeper flavor.
Place the roasted nuts in a food processor and start blending. Scrape down the sides regularly.
The nuts will go from a crumbly texture to a thick paste. Keep blending until smooth and creamy.
Add salt, honey, or a dash of cinnamon for flavor. For chocolate lovers, add cocoa powder or melted chocolate.
Transfer the nut butter to a clean, airtight jar and store in the fridge. It should last for up to two weeks.
Spread on toast, use in smoothies, or enjoy with fruits for a healthy, delicious snack.
