– 2 teaspoons finely ground Turkish coffee – 1 cup cold water – Sugar (optional, to taste) – A Turkish coffee pot (cezve)
Add cold water to the cezve. Stir in the Turkish coffee and sugar (if desired). Do not stir after this point.
Place the cezve on low heat. Allow the coffee to heat gradually, forming a thick foam on top.
Before the coffee boils, remove it from heat and pour the foam into your cup. Return the cezve to heat and repeat the process to brew the remaining coffee.
Pour the coffee into a small cup and let the grounds settle at the bottom. Enjoy it slowly, savoring the rich and bold flavors.
