How To Make Authentic Churma Ladoos At Home

Ingredients 

– Wheat flour: 2 cups – Ghee: 1/2 cup (plus extra for frying) – Jaggery: 1 cup (grated) – Cardamom powder: 1 tsp – Dry fruits: Almonds and pistachios (chopped) – Sesame seeds (optional): 2 tbsp

Preparing The Dough

1. Mix wheat flour and melted ghee to form a crumbly texture. 2. Add water gradually to knead a firm dough.

Shaping And Frying

1. Divide the dough into small balls or rolls. 2. Deep-fry on medium heat until golden brown. Cool completely.

Making The Churma

1. Crush the fried dough pieces into a fine powder using a grinder or hands. 2. Sift the mixture for a smooth texture.

Prepare The Sweetening 

Heat jaggery in a pan with a bit of water until it melts.

Mix

Mix the melted jaggery with the churma powder, cardamom, and dry fruits.

Shaping The Ladoos

1. Grease your palms with ghee. 2. Take portions of the mixture and roll into ladoos.

Final Touch

Let the ladoos set and serve them fresh or store in an airtight container for up to a week.
