Mix gram flour (besan) with water, spices (turmeric, red chili powder), and salt to form a smooth batter.
Incorporate finely chopped greens like spinach, colocasia leaves, or other leafy vegetables into the batter for flavor.
Spread the batter on colocasia leaves, roll tightly, and cut into slices.
Place the rolls in a steamer and steam for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and sauté the steamed rolls until golden brown.
Cut the rolls into pieces, garnish with fresh coriander, and serve hot with green chutney or yogurt!
