1 cup oats, 1/2 cup protein powder, 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter, 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup, 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional), 1-2 tbsp milk (for consistency).
Take a bowl and mix oats and protein powder. Gradually stir in peanut butter and honey until it's well combined.
Add a tablespoon of milk at a time if the mixture feels too dry or crumbly.
Add in the extras like: chocolate chips, nuts, or seeds.
Place parchment paper in a square dish and evenly spread the mixture inside, pressing it down firmly.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Then cut into bars and store in an airtight container. Serve anytime and anywhere.
