Besan (gram flour), turmeric powder, cumin powder, salt, water for dough, and a pinch of carom seeds (ajwain).
In a bowl, combine besan, turmeric, cumin powder, salt, and ajwain. Gradually add water and knead into a smooth dough.
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin, round roti using a rolling pin.
Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium heat. Cook each roti on both sides, flipping occasionally until golden brown.
For added flavor, you can brush a small amount of ghee on the roti. But for a healthier option, skip the ghee.
Enjoy your healthy, delicious Besan Ki Roti with a side of vegetables or a light salad.
