250g mozzarella sticks, 1 cup flour, 2 beaten eggs, 1½ cups breadcrumbs, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, salt & pepper, oil for frying.

Cut mozzarella into sticks. Set up 3 bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.

Dredge cheese sticks in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs. Freeze for 30 mins.

Heat oil to 180°C (350°F). Fry mozzarella sticks for 1–2 mins until golden. Drain on paper towels.

Sauté garlic in olive oil, add crushed tomatoes, basil, salt & pepper. Simmer 10 mins.

Serve hot mozzarella sticks with warm marinara sauce for dipping!

Use panko for extra crunch, bake instead of fry for a healthier twist, and add chili flakes to marinara for heat!
