500g chicken thighs or breasts, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger.
In a bowl, mix 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp mirin, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp grated ginger, and 1 minced garlic clove.
Heat ghee in a pan.
Sear chicken in a hot pan with oil. Cook 4–5 min per side until golden.
Pour in teriyaki sauce. Simmer until thick and glossy (5–7 min).
Slice chicken and pour extra sauce on top.
Top with: – Toasted sesame seeds – Chopped green onions – Steamed rice or veggies on the side
