Freshly Baked Pulla : Finnish Cardamom Bread

Ingredients

Flour, sugar, ground cardamom, dry yeast, milk, butter, egg.

Prepare Dough

Mix yeast with warm milk and sugar. combine with flour, cardamom, and salt.

Let Dough Rise 

Let the dough rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Shaping Bread

Divide dough, shape into long strands, then twist them into a braid or swirl.

Adding Egg Wash

Brush with egg wash for a golden, glossy finish.

Baking Pulla

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes. Watch it turn golden brown.
