– 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon sugar – 1 teaspoon baking powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – Pinch of salt – 1 cup buttermilk – 1 large egg – 2 tablespoons melted butter
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined. Don't overmix!
Heat a skillet, grease with butter, and pour batter. Cook each pancake for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
Stack the pancakes, drizzle with maple syrup, and enjoy your fluffy buttermilk pancakes!
