– 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking powder – 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened) – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 2 eggs – 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee (cooled) – 1/2 cup chopped walnuts For the Frosting – 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened) – 1 cup powdered sugar – 1 tbsp strong brewed coffee – Walnut halves (for decoration)
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in brewed coffee. Fold in flour, baking powder, and walnuts.
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
Beat butter, powdered sugar, and coffee until smooth and creamy.
Spread frosting over the cooled cake. Decorate with walnut halves for a festive touch.
