Take flour, baking soda, spices, salt, butter, brown sugar, eggs, molasses, and vanilla.

Ingredients

In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy, mix in the egg, molasses, and vanilla, then gradually combine with other ingredients to form a dough.

Make The Dough

Divide the dough in half, shape into discs, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight to firm up.

Chill The Dough

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and use festive cookie cutters to create shapes.

Place the cookies on baking sheets, bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are firm, then transfer and cool for 5 minutes.
