Soak dried fruits in rum, orange juice, or wine for 1-2 days.
Mix soaked fruits with apples, brown sugar, spices, salt, and butter for the filling.
Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F) and prepare pastry dough.
Line a muffin pan with pastry rounds and spoon in the filling.
Top with pastry stars and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes and serve.
