Mamta
You need a 1 cup of walnuts, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup ghee, 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, Saffron strands for garnish, and Chopped walnuts for garnish.
Start by grinding the walnuts into a coarse powder. You can use a blender or a food processor.
In a pan, heat a little ghee and roast the walnut powder for 2-3 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly.
Now, add the milk and sugar to the pan. Stir continuously as the mixture thickens.
Once the halwa begins to thicken, add cardamom powder and continue to cook until it reaches a pudding-like consistency.
Once the halwa has thickened, transfer it to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped walnuts and rose petals for an elegant touch.
