Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
Combine ½ cup melted butter, 1 cup sugar, and 2 large eggs; whisk until smooth.
Stir in ½ cup all-purpose flour, ⅓ cup cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
Mix in ½ cup chocolate chips or chunks for extra gooeyness.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Let brownies cool, slice, and enjoy!
