– 2 ripe bananas (mashed) – 1 cup flour – 1/2 cup cocoa powder – 1/2 cup sugar – 1/2 cup butter (melted) – 2 eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 tsp baking powder – A pinch of salt – Chocolate chips for extra indulgence (optional)
Start by mashing the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Slowly fold into the wet mixture.
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Add chocolate chips for extra richness.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool, slice, and enjoy the delicious fusion of banana and chocolate!
