- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken - 2 cups tomato sauce - 1 onion, chopped - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1 tsp oregano - 1 tsp chili flakes (optional) - Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 lasagna sheets (cooked) - 2 cups ricotta cheese - 2 cups shredded mozzarella - 1/2 cup grated parmesan - Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Sauté the onions and garlic in a little oil until softened. Add tomato sauce, shredded chicken, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Mix the ricotta cheese with a pinch of salt, pepper, and fresh basil. This adds a creamy layer to your lasagna.
In a baking dish, spread a layer of chicken sauce, followed by lasagna sheets. Add a layer of ricotta mixture and sprinkle mozzarella.
