Lingkan Reang
Soak dals for 30 minutes and pressure cook until soft.
In a kadai, heat oil and temper cumin, turmeric, bay leaf, and cinnamon.
Saute ginger-garlic-chili paste, then onions until golden.
Add spice powders and cook tomato puree until oil separates.
Mix in cooked dals, boil, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish with coriander and lemon juice, serve with rice or roti.
