Ingredients needed -10-12 White bread slices,1/2 cup fresh coconut chunks, Handful fresh coriander, Butter, 1 green chili, 1 garlic clove, 1 small ball sized tamarind, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp sugar, Salt as per taste.
Take a blender jar and tip in everything except coriander leaves.
Turn on the blender and make a thick paste. Add water if required but use minimum amount; we don’t want watery chutney.
Next add coriander leaves into blender jar and blitz it together. Make a fine thick paste and our chutney is ready.
Take bread slices and remove its crust.
Apply generous amount of butter to one side of bread. Then apply chutney to other bread on one side.
Arrange breads one upon the other; chutney and butter sides facing each other. You can cut it into triangle or rectangle.
Chutney sandwich is ready to serve. This chutney sandwich tastes good with tea or coffee.
