Chop or slit baby corn and set aside.
Grind the masala ingredients into a fine puree.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle.
Add the pureed masala, cook until oil separates, then mix in spice powders, salt, and sugar.
Add baby corn and water, cover, and cook for 1 whistle.
Let the pressure release naturally, open the cooker, and serve.
