A narrow tunnel carved by the villagers into a cliff with minimum engineering tools. It is located in Taihang mountains. Also called as the "the road that does not tolerate mistakes."

Guoliang Tunnel: China

It is located at a higher altitude, approximately 11,000 ft. Dangerous in winter due to snowstorms. Also considered as one of the highest vehicular tunnels in the world.

Eisenhower Tunnel: USA

Located in Washington State. It is totally a dark, isolated, and damp tunnel, mostly used by bikers. It is said to be a part of converted railway trail.

Snoqualmie Tunnel: USA

Located between Laerdal and Aurland. It is approximately 24.5 km (15.2 mi) long, and can result in claustrophobia, psychological stress, and fatigue.

Laerdal Tunnel: Norway

Located in Jammu & Kashmir, and is under construction. It will be one of the longest high-altitude tunnels in Asia. Dangerous because of narrow paths, snow, and landslides.
