Combine 1 1/4 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup cold butter. Set into a tart pan and chill for 30 minutes. Then bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes.
Melt 6 oz chocolate with 1/2 cup cream. Stir in 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla until smooth.
Slice 2 apples thinly and toss with 1 tbsp lemon juice.
Spread the melted chocolate filling over the baked crust, then layer the apple slices on top.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped walnuts over the apples. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
Let the tart set at room temperature. Garnish with whipped cream (optional) and serve.
