Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F and chill the pie crust for 30 minutes.
Roll out the crust, line a pie plate, trim excess, and refrigerate.
Melt butter in a saucepan and mix all filling ingredients (except pecans).
Sprinkle pecans in the pie crust, pour in the filling, and top with whole pecans.
Bake for 50–60 minutes until golden, then cool for 30 minutes.
Refrigerate for 2 hours, slice, and serve.
