Pressure cook toor dal with 3 cups of water for 3 whistles, then mash and set aside.

Heat oil and ghee, saute whole spices, onions, and ginger garlic paste.

Add tomatoes, curry leaves, green chilies, and spice powders, cook until mushy.

Add chicken, fry until browned, then mix in coriander, mint, and veggies.

Add water, pressure cook for 2 whistles, then stir in cooked dal, mango, and tamarind pulp.

Simmer for 10 minutes, garnish with coriander.

Serve with rice or pulav.
