- 4 slices of bread - 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based) - 1 tbsp sugar - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - A pinch of salt - Butter or oil for frying
In a bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil to coat the surface.
Place soaked bread slices in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each.
Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or powdered sugar.
