Cream together sugar and shortening, then add eggs, milk, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Combine wet and dry mixtures, fold in blueberries, and pour into a greased pan.
Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
Cook at 375ºF for 35-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Enjoy warm with coffee, tea, or a scoop of ice cream!
