Lingkan Reang
Soak basmati rice for 2 hours, drain, and blend with 1 cup milk until coarse.
Cook the rice and milk in a saucepan on low heat, stirring until thickened.
Add sugar and mix well.
Stir in apples and cook until soft.
Add cardamom, kishmish, cashews, and food colour, and mix well.
Spoon into bowls and serve hot, warm, or cold.
