Grate 1 medium-sized lauki (bottle gourd) and squeeze out excess water.
In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, and salt to taste.
Add the grated lauki to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
Add 1/4 cup chopped cilantro and 1-2 chopped green chilies to the mixture and stir.
Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnish with a pinch of cumin seeds and a few coriander leaves.
Serve the lauki raita chilled, alongside your favorite Indian dishes or as a healthy snack.
