Butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, flour, cocoa, salt, chocolate chips.
In a bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla, then mix. Gradually add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir until combined.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
Gently press your thumb into the center of each ball to create an indent.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool completely on a wire rack.
