Saute onions, curry leaves, chillies, and salt in oil for 1 minute.
Add spice powders and toss well.
Mix the spiced mixture into mashed potatoes, then divide and shape into balls.
Soak bread slices in water, squeeze, and mash them.
Flatten the bread, place a potato ball in the center, and cover it.
Deep fry the balls until golden, drain, and serve.
