Lingkan Reang
Cut a large onion into 1/4″ to 1/2″ discs and separate into rings.
Set up three bowls with seasoned flour, buttermilk, and panko breadcrumbs.
Coat onion rings in flour, dip in buttermilk, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Cover the breaded rings with a damp paper towel for 10-15 minutes to help the coating stick.
Heat 1-2 inches of oil to 350-375°F for frying.
Fry onion rings in batches until golden, then drain on paper towels.
Serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
