Crispy Kerala-Style Tapioca Chips Recipe

Ingredients

Fresh Tapioca (Kasavu) , Salt, Turmeric, Water, Coconut oil for frying

Peel And Slice Tapioca

Peel the tapioca root, then slice it thinly using a mandolin or sharp knife.

Soak And Boil

Soak the sliced tapioca in water for 5-10 minutes, then boil until they are soft.

Prepare Seasoning

In a bowl, mix salt and turmeric. Add this seasoning to the boiled tapioca.

Dry Slices

Spread the seasoned tapioca slices on a towel and let them dry for 30 minutes.

Fry Chips

Heat coconut oil in a pan. Fry the tapioca slices until golden and crispy.

Serve And Enjoy

Drain excess oil and let the chips cool. Serve with a spicy chutney or enjoy on their own.
