2 chicken breasts, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, egg, marinara sauce, mozzarella, basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet or rolling pin, Season with salt and pepper.
In another bowl, beat the egg. In one bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, Dip chicken into the egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place fried chicken on a baking dish. Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast.
Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with spaghetti or a side salad. Enjoy your delicious Chicken Parmesan.
