Pour vegetable oil and butter in a pan.
Heat on medium-high until the fat begins to smoke.
Add chicken wings in a single layer, ensuring they are covered by the fat.
Cook for 15 minutes, then turn and cook for another 14 minutes.
Increase heat to medium-high for 1 more minute, then drain.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl, toss the wings to coat, and let sit for 5 minutes.
Serve with lemon and preferred sauce.
