– 3 boiled potatoes (mashed) – 1 cup grated cheese (mozzarella or cheddar) – 1/2 cup breadcrumbs – 1/4 cup cornflour – Spices: chili flakes, pepper, and salt to taste – Oil for frying
1. Mash the boiled potatoes. 2. Add grated cheese, chili flakes, pepper, and salt. 3. Mix until smooth and well combined.
1. Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. 2. Place a small cheese cube in the center. 3. Seal the edges and roll into a ball. Repeat for all.
1. Mix cornflour with a little water to form a slurry. 2. Dip each ball in the slurry, then roll it in breadcrumbs for a crispy coating.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the balls until they’re golden brown and crispy.
Pair your potato cheese balls with ketchup, mayonnaise, or your favorite dip. They’re gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside!
