- 400g chickpeas, drained and rinsed - 3 tablespoons tahini - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 2 tablespoons lemon juice - 1 garlic clove, minced - Salt, to taste - Water, as needed - Paprika and fresh parsley for garnish
In a grinder, combine the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt. Blend until smooth.
If the hummus is too thick, gradually add water until you reach your desired consistency. Blend again until creamy.
Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning if needed. Add more lemon juice, salt, or garlic to suit your preference.
Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley for garnish.
Serve with pita bread, fresh veggies, or crackers. Enjoy your delicious homemade hummus with friends and family!
