Cut the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender or food processor.
Add the unsweetened cocoa powder to the blender with the avocado. This will give the mousse its rich chocolate flavor.
Pour in the maple syrup (or honey) and almond milk. Adjust the sweetener based on your taste preference.
Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.
Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Ensure there are no lumps for a velvety texture.
Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more maple syrup or honey.
Transfer the mousse into serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow it to set and chill.
