Mahindra Bolero Neo is a popular compact SUV in the segment, known for its demand across urban and rural areas.
Now, Global NCAP has conducted a crash test of this SUV, and the report has been released. The SUV has received only a single-star rating under the new protocol.
According to Global NCAP, Bolero Neo performed poorly in both adult and child safety, receiving a very low rating.
During this crash test, Bolero Neo managed to score only 20.26 points out of a total of 34 points. The report states that the SUV's structure is not stable.
Additionally, the driver's chest and legs do not receive adequate safety. According to the report, there are differences in both the front impact test and side impact protection.
It should be noted that the Bolero Neo does not provide curtain airbags or seatbelt reminders for all passengers.
Regarding child safety, the Bolero Neo has managed to score only 12.71 points out of a maximum of 49 points.
