Flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cooled chocolate mixture, eggs, vanilla, and cream.
Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, melt the chopped dark chocolate, butter, sugar, and water over low heat, stirring until smooth, then remove from heat.
Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Grease and line cake pan with baking paper.
Pour the batter into the pan, bake for 45-55 minutes, then cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Melt the dark chocolate and butter, stir in heavy cream and vanilla until smooth; once the cake is cooled, spread the frosting.
Decorate with Christmas sprinkles, fresh berries, powdered sugar, or crushed candy canes, whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
