1 cup flour - 1/2 cup cocoa powder - 1 tsp baking powder - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/2 cup melted butter - 2 eggs - 1/2 cup milk - 1 tsp vanilla extract - A pinch of salt - 1 cup dark chocolate (chopped) - 1/2 cup heavy cream
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Combine both.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes. Let it cool completely."
Heat the cream in a saucepan until just boiling. Remove from heat and pour it over the chopped chocolate. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.
Pour the chocolate ganache over the cooled cake, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Let it set for a glossy finish.
Slice into the cake and enjoy the rich, creamy ganache with the soft, chocolatey cake.
