200g chestnuts, 100g chocolate, 100ml cream, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, pinch salt, crushed chestnuts (topping).
Start by chopping the onion, apple, and grating the ginger. Set aside your dried cranberries for later.
In a large pan, add water, vinegar, and sugar. Heat on medium until the sugar dissolves.
Stir in the cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and ginger. Let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to release all those warming holiday aromas.
Now, add the chopped apple and cranberries to the mix. Stir well and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Pair with roasted meats, cheese boards, or serve as a dip for crackers. It’s perfect for every holiday feast.
