1 loaf Italian/French bread, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 1/2 cup shredded parmesan, salt, pepper, chopped parsley.

Combine minced garlic and softened butter in a bowl. Mix until well combined.

Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly onto the cut side of the bread.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the garlic butter.

Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. Top with chopped parsley if desired.

Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
