Celebrate Lohri With The Creamy Delight Off Sweet Corn Kheer

Ingredients needed – 1 cup corn kernels, 4 cups full-fat milk, ½ cup sugar, 2-3 cardamom pods, A pinch of saffron, Chopped pistachios & almonds for garnish.

Start by blending the corn kernels into a smooth paste. You can use fresh corn or frozen corn.

Prepare The Corn

In a pan, heat the milk and add cardamom pods and saffron. Let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.

Cook The Kheer Base

Add the corn paste to the milk and stir. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.

Add Sweet Corn Paste

Add the sugar and continue stirring until it dissolves completely.

Sweeten The Kheer

Your Sweet Corn Kheer is ready! Serve in bowls and garnish with pistachios, almonds, and saffron.
