Brew, Bake & Enjoy: New York-Style Coffee Crumb Cake 

Combine 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Add 1/2 cup of cold butter (cut into cubes) and mix until crumbly.

Prepare The Crumb Topping

In a bowl, whisk 1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup of softened butter, 3/4 cup sugar. Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, mix until smooth.

Make The Cake Batter

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with 1/2 cup of milk, mixing until just combined.

Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients

Pour the cake batter into the pan, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over the batter.

Assemble The Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown. 

Preheat The Oven & Bake

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar. Slice and serve warm.
