100g Bournville dark chocolate, 120g unsalted butter, 200g sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 190g flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 240ml milk.
100g Bournville dark chocolate, 200g unsalted butter, 300g icing sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, a pinch of salt.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Melt the Bournville chocolate, then add butter and sugar; eggs, vanilla, dry ingredients and milk. Mix well. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake cases.
Bake for 18-20 minutes. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
Once the cupcakes are completely cool, spread the frosting onto each cupcake.
Decorate with chopped Bournville chocolate or a drizzle of melted chocolate, and enjoy your indulgent Bournville chocolate cupcakes.
