Bengaluru's Relief: The New Flyover Set to Tackle Traffic Gridlock

15-Kilometer Marvel Spanning nearly 15 kilometers, this ambitious flyover will stretch from the KR Puram police station to the Kolathur Junction. It's set to become the longest flyover in Bengaluru, surpassing even the famed Electronics City expressway.

Gridlock Buster Designed to streamline traffic flow, this six-lane flyover aims to unclog the notorious bottlenecks at TC Palya and Battarahalli junctions, offering a smooth ride for commuters traversing Old Madras Road.

Future-Ready Infrastructure Equipped for tomorrow's demands, the flyover's construction focuses on sturdy spans using 30-meter girders. While this innovation may pose logistical challenges, it ensures a robust structure built to withstand the test of time.

Funding and Tolling Estimated at Rs 1,500 crore, the project will follow a Hybrid Annuity Model, sharing costs between NHAI and the contractor. While the flyover will be tolled, the surface roads will remain toll-free.

Expected Completion and Toll-Free Options The Detailed Project Report is slated for completion by March 2024. Commuters hope for a hassle-free journey upon the flyover's launch, especially considering the expected toll-free surface road options.

Challenges and Adaptability Challenges might arise due to transporting these sizeable girders, potentially influencing the construction timeline and costs. However, the aim is to create an adaptable solution catering to Bengaluru's ever-evolving traffic needs.
